E&A is a Construction Management and General Contracting Firm serving the private industry and public works for over 20 years. We perform as General Contractors, General Contractors for Construction, Construction Managers, and Construction Manager & General Contractor (CMGC). These various functions are options based on Owners' requirements for both private and public works. Our project management and estimating team spend the time and effort in the complete development of scope of work for the project to mitigate delays and cost impacts, which allow for successful completion of our projects.
Our experience includes constructing and management of new construction, high-rise development, building retrofit, interior/exterior renovation, historic restoration, rehabilitation of distressed properties, demolition, and new additions. We have worked in various sectors, including but not limited to private developments, residential/commercial mixed-use buildings, schools, emergency service facilities, courthouses, correctional facilities, hospitals, malls, sewer treatment plants, wastewater facilities, museums, and places of worship.
E&A holds emergency construction and response contracts in local municipalities. We mobilize and manage requisite forces immediately when emergency services are required for disaster relief.
E&A fully understands the challenges associated with developing, managing, and completing major construction projects. We work closely with owners, architects and engineers, property managers, development companies, homeowner’s associations, and trade contractors to deliver well-constructed, timely, cost-efficient projects. Our background, experience, and foresight in the management and execution of construction operations and logistics, differentiate us from our competition. Our services include project scheduling, estimating, value engineering, inspection services, contract management/document control, and constructability reviews.
At E&A, each project big or small, is treated like our main priority. Our personalized pre-construction services tailored to our clientele is what separates us from the competition. We finish all projects with long lasting client relationships.
Pre-construction activities include assisting Ownership with the early development of priority contracts, such as Architects, Engineers, Expeditors, Schedulers, Estimators, Accountants, Construction Managers, Contractors, Vendors, Manufacturers and Site Safety Management, to ensure expeditious coordination and production of the design development presentation, and preparation of the technical and construction documents. Included in this early stage of development are the code compliance and environmental impact reviews for the necessary approvals and permitting. Production of new construction documents sufficient in detail will allow for accurate estimating and budget forecasting. Further development of the early stage design leads to fine-tuned budgets, as well as, distribution to potential subcontractors and vendors. These ongoing pre-construction activities and continued negotiation with the subcontractors are best to expedite the pre-construction process, award contracts, and mobilize the project.
Design/Build services allow the Owner to manage one contract with a single point of responsibility. E&A has partnered and managed multiple projects with architects, engineers, manufacturers, vendors and specialty contractors. E&A’s dynamic team provides Owners with creative construction development and management leading to the overall success of a project.
While working with Ownership and developing our teams, we begin the flow of valuable information to the Owner focusing on client requests, budget, and schedule. This collaborative partnership results in an efficient communication link, ensuring accurate cost projections and timely conflict resolution. This common vested interest in working together ensures the timely completion of the project, within budget and scope requirements, and of superior quality.
CPM Construction Completion Schedule services include the planning & development of a Baseline CPM Completion Schedule and performing schedule updates at periodic intervals.
It is also beneficial to have the project resources loaded with costs and workforce. Typically, each line item in the schedule would be assigned a cost or labor value, which allows the ability to provide various tables, charts, and graphs, which show monthly cash flow projections, actual costs, workforce curves, and other pertinent information.
